August 20, 2012....

1st DAY of SCHOOL!!!!!


He wanted to take his "Great Pie Robbery" book with him to share. Here's to many more graceful transitions.

The first few weeks were a bit like..."I would rather stay home with you mommy"...but each morning we arrived at school, he took off to play with barely a glance back...and now he wakes up every morning asking "is it a school day today" with great joy and anticipation in his voice for a day of play with all his new friends.
