The Gleason's: April 2012

I know...we took the trip like 2 months ago...but with a 2 1/2 yr old who is transitioning to no nap, it's hard to get a moment between the necessities of cleaning house, doing dishes, and throwing in a load of laundry. Anyways, back to Maui....we had a great time...enhanced by the fact that our good friends Melissa, David, and Lila were there with us. Lila and Bix get along so well...so well sometimes that you'd think they were siblings (and yes, that means sibling annoyances as well)....but overall they were champs and we all got a chance to relax with great friends in a great place. Bix loved it all....but especially the ice cream. Even when asked today, he will tell you his favourite part was the ice cream...specifically chocolate and coconut. He got to "surf" with Daddy and we saw all sorts Maui sights. His language has blossomed after the trip...either coincidence or the effect of having so much to say about what he saw and experienced. Here are the highlights...

DAY 1
