Welcome to our website!

Thanks for stopping by. With all that's changing in our family, we thought it would be a good idea to create a website where friends and family can keep in touch and share in our latest family moments. We will be updating with news of the day (not every day!), milestones worth noting, pictures, slideshows, and anything else we can think of sharing this way.

Talk to you soon!

An oldie but goodie

I guess I hadn't unloaded pics from my small camera in a while...either that or I never deleted them...so this one was uploaded from the camera the other day with the swimming pics and I though it was too precious not to share. Bix is about a month old in this pic.

Swimming with nana

While Nana and Grandad were here helping me out with Bix, Nana got to take Bix to swimming lessons. They both had so much fun splashing around and singing songs.

Live Oak 2010

Well...the weekend started off a little rocky...I fell onto my wrist and elbow and we ended up spending Thursday night in the ER instead of camping out at the Live Oak gates. But with it all bandaged up, we headed to Live Oak Friday morning and set up camp. The rest of the weekend was smooth sailing. There were tons of people to help out with Bix and he enjoyed spending time with daddy and riding around on his shoulders. Everyone there knew Bix as the smiling baby...and he had lots to smile at. Good music, fun people, and of course, Nana and Grandad. It was also Brian's first father's day and Bix helped him open his ift....a lovely photo mug for work. Oh...and did I mention that Bix figured out how to crawl 2 days before Live Oak...so there was lots of fun to be had keeping him out of the woodchips.

A weekend with the Nanas and the Grandads

We had a great weekend with Nana, Grandad, Nana Gwen, and Grandad Oscar. Bix was charming as usual and everyone got to play with the squirmy little mover and shaker. We lounged in the backyard in the perfect weather...well...most of us lounged...Brian did some weed whacking. Bix also showed everyone how much he wants to walk...so he tried it out a little with Nana. He was so tired, he practically fell asleep in Nana's arms an hour before his usual bedtime! And on Sunday mom and dad (Nana and Grandad) helped put up the cables on the trellis so the vines can grow up and over next year.
