Welcome to our website!

Thanks for stopping by. With all that's changing in our family, we thought it would be a good idea to create a website where friends and family can keep in touch and share in our latest family moments. We will be updating with news of the day (not every day!), milestones worth noting, pictures, slideshows, and anything else we can think of sharing this way.

Talk to you soon!

We love the sunshine

Bix is a mess if he doesn't get to go outside every day. He brings you your shoes first thing after breakfast and stands by the door saying outside...in his own way...and he doesn't take kindly to being told "not yet". We have had some great sunshine though and we have been able to be outside most of the day. Bix loves playing in the water table which we filled with bird seed. He has learned that he can climb up into it and pour the seeds all over himself. His favorite remains the chickens....and they are actually becoming used to Bix....letting him chase them and get rather close....Gertrude even hunkered down and let Bix pet her one day. We are working on trying to stay out of the coop itself but we do find that he has "fallen in by accident" on occasion. He does give you the "I didn't mean to look" and the "I don't know how I got here" shrug. Since he discovered he can climb up into the seed table, he has also become a fan of sitting in the chicken food bins. This is a sight I do not have a photo of yet, but it's only a matter of time. He loves when Dada is home and he gets to play with the big boy toys and help out around the yard. Brian and I have been able to get so much more work done now that he can roam on his own. At the end of the day, we empty the seeds and chicken food out of his boots, strip him down, and toss him in the bath where he loves to splash around and pull the plug, saying "bye-bye ap" ("ap" being his word for water). I hope all of you are having as much fun outside as we are.
