Another camping trip last weekend...this time at our favorite local spot - El Capitan State Beach. We did get some drizzle Thursday and Saturday nights but the weather was beautiful during the day. Bix, as usual, was charming and flirty with everyone in the camp. He loved going for walks with Grandad. They tried to spot the birds flying about....and Bix would go to the door of the RV make a "Br" sound every time he wanted to bird watch with Grandad. And he gained confidence with his walking. I guess the RV was just the right size for perfecting the toddle between the couch and the dinette. He got so good he pulled Nana toward the ocean when they went to dip their feet in. He didn't want to leave. And he got to show off the Nana Gwen and Grandad Oscar as well. While we were a little nervous about nighttime sleep...being only 4 nights into sleep training...Bix slept as good as any night and even let everyone sleep in until 8:30 one morning. It was a great relaxing weekend that we were sad to see end.
