We had a great first birthday party at Paloma Creek Park. Bix and his friends climbed all over the play structure and had a great time sliding down the slides head first! And he even enjoyed his gluten-free sugar-free cupcake. He became a pro at opening presents when we got home and was so wired from all the excitement that it took him an extra hour to fall asleep. He is walking so well now...he is trying his luck at running through the house on occasion. Doug and Olwynne had a blast hanging out with him and letting him show them allthe great things he loves to look at. We think he might have nicknamed Doug DaDo...but we'll have to see if it sticks.
