We headed down to the sunken gardens to see the annual Colony days parade and visit tent city. Bix got his first taste of real ice cream....and while he and Daddy shared, there really wasn't much left for Daddy. We watched some music...Bix was enthralled by the saxophonist. Then he and his friend Felix went on a train ride. I wasn't sure how he would take it after the pony ride at the fair brought tears even though I was right next to him the whole time...but he was so excited for the train ride, he waved us off without a second thought.
