We had a lovely weekend down south at my parents. We were able to visit with Cameron, Nanny Gwen and Grandad Oscar, Uncle Bill, and Alex. Saturday turned out to be not too chilly, so we were able to have a picnic at the VA facility by the strawberry flag....a aqua-ponic strawberry growing living sculpture that looks like the American flag when photographed from above. Bix was charming as usual and let everyone hold him and say hi. Nanny Gwen and Grandad Oscar joined us back at mom and dads for a BBQ that evening. Bix was a little too excited to sleep well that night and the following morning. But it has only taken us until Tuesday to get back on track.
Oh...and did I mention Bix can sit up on his own now (when he leans and reaches too far he still topples on occasion) and his toes are becoming a favourite thing to suck on.
